Goal:
Redesigning Orisoft’s unify | HRS with a focused user experience
The current user interface of Orisoft’s unify | HRS suite, while flexible, scalable, and easily configurable, may not effectively support the needs of companies looking to improve the work ethic and morale of their workforce through the use of its dynamic competitive tools. As a result, there may be difficulties in providing data transparency, empowering individuals to take control of leave and reimbursement applications and other administrative tasks, and achieving efficiency for HR through the self-service system. This can lead to a lack of engagement for employees and challenges for executives and managers. A redesign of the user interface with a focus on improving the user experience may address these issues, and better support the needs of companies using the unify | HRS suite.
Objectives:
- Use familiar content to make the product easy to understand.
- Design a clear and organized interface to allow for easy navigation.
- Use data visualization and structured tables to present information in a user-friendly way.
Approach:
To address the issues identified in the current user interface of Orisoft’s unify | HRS suite and better support the needs of companies using the software, our approach to the UX redesign will involve the following steps:
- Conduct user research to understand the target audience’s specific needs and pain points. This may include interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Analyze the data collected from user research to identify common themes and patterns.
- Use the insights gained from user research and data analysis to inform the design of wireframes and prototypes for the redesigned user interface.
- Test the wireframes and prototypes with a representative sample of the target audience to gather feedback and make refinements.
- Based on the feedback received, create a high-fidelity mockup of the redesigned user interface.
- Test the high-fidelity mockup with a representative sample of the target audience to gather final feedback and make any necessary changes.
- Use the insights from the testing to create a detailed design specification that can be used to guide the development of the redesigned user interface.
By following this UX approach, we aim to create a user interface that effectively meets the target audience’s needs and enhances their experience with the unify | HRS suite.
Solution:
Based on the UX approach outlined above, the following solutions may be recommended to address the identified issues with the current user interface of Orisoft’s unify | HRS suite:
- Incorporate user-friendly and familiar content into the interface to reduce confusion and improve understanding for the target audience.
- Design a clear and organized structure that allows easy navigation and access to key features.
- Create a clean layout that displays important information prominently and has a good balance of white space to improve visual appeal and clarity.
- Utilize data visualization techniques to help users quickly understand and use the information provided.
- Design tables that store data in a structured format and provide options for filtering and sorting to make it easy for users to find and compare specific information.
By implementing these solutions, we can create a redesigned user interface that better meets the target audience’s needs and enhances their experience with the unify | HRS suite.
Result:
The end result of implementing the solutions outlined above will be a redesigned user interface for Orisoft’s unify | HRS suite that is more user-friendly, intuitive, and effective in supporting the needs of companies looking to improve the work ethic and morale of their workforce.
The interface will utilize familiar and easily understandable content, a clear and organized structure, a visually appealing layout, and effective data visualization and table design to help users quickly find and understand the information they need.
